Hey guy's an girls.

I have been looking for this for some time now..
I have posted on other forum's to no avail and was wondering if anyone had a/some cuts of this they want to trade or sell?

Thank's mate I apreciate it. Aparently its a weed in different states but I have never seen it in the flesh. According to some websites it has really good grafting properties for slow growers.

I bought 200 seeds of Acanthocereus tetragonus in 2004 and propagated as grafting stocks of seedlings. Seed supplier was in VIC.

The success ratio of seedling grafting was poor.
The growing speed of scions was too slow.

I gave up to use them as grafting stock and dislodged all.

Thanks, that's good to know. At one point in the past, I also considered looking into them, and now I know it definitely isn't worth the effort.

Selenicereus makes a very good root stock for a lot kinds of cacti, and is not used as often as it could. I use it a fair bit, for smaller plants, pups and even seedlings.
Here's a good link to a page that tells a lot about grafting with it, including a number of pictures showing grafts. Hope it's helpful.
