Another view. It is showing signs of growing two heads. It is 15 cm in diameter.

Looks a bit like a Matucana or Parodia, but can't be sure....

Just found out that the cactus is Oroya peruviana var laxiareolata.

While we are on the thread of double heads, I have some in my collection that are double headed and always wondered if there is a place for them, like crested and varigated cacti. Are they valubale as cressted and varigated cactii?

Not a good shot of Gymnocalycium mihanovichii at the front

They were double headed by seed not from injury, sorry just wanted to add that!
